What was written about Sambhaji Maharaj in Aurangzeb's death certificate?

Aurangzeb, who had territories as far as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, controlled 25% of the world's GDP, killed all his brothers, imprisoned his father, destroyed Hindu pilgrimage sites like Kashi, Mathura, fathered four wives and a dozen sons, remembered only one man's name in his will. . That is Shivaji Maharaj. (Not written about Sambhaji Maharaj).

This death certificate is still in the Bikaner museum. The letter originally written in Persian was translated by Jadunath Sarkar.

This is clause 12 in the will. The 12th clause is directly written only to Shivaji Maharaj. In it he says that the laziness he showed in rescuing Shiva (Shivaji Maharaj) from Agra cost him his life.

Each clause is translated into Marathi. It is mentioned in the book Akham e Alamgir.

He has spent 11 clauses on how to perform his last rites, the importance of his army. But he remembered Shivaji Maharaj in 12 clauses because of the man who killed himself and 5 lakh army.

The Will of Aurangzeb (1658-1707): A Rare Document

1.Plunged into sin on behalf of this sinner [ie. I] cover the holy grave of Hasan because those drowned in the ocean of sins have no protection other than taking refuge in the lines of mercy and forgiveness.

2. Of the cost of the hat sewn by me, four rupees and two rupees belong to Anna, Mohaldar Ayya Beg. Take the amount and spend it on covering this helpless animal. Three hundred and five rupees from the salary of copying the Quran is in my purse for personal expenses. Distribute them among the fakirs on the day of my death

3. Obtain the remaining necessary articles/documents [of my funeral] from Ali's broker; For he is the nearest heir among my children, and the responsibility is upon him, legal or illegitimate [at my funeral]; This helpless man (i.e. Aurangzeb) is not responsible for them, because the survival of the dead is in the hands of the survivors.

4.Bury this vagabond (i.e. Aurangzeb) with his head in the divine stone from the right path, as every destructive sinner who is indifferently treated before the Great Emperor (i.e. God) will be merciful.

5. Cover the top of my coffin with a coarse white cloth called gaji. Avoid the spread of roofs and illegal innovations like [processions] of musicians and the celebration of the Prophet's birth.

6.It is fitting for a ruler (i.e. my heir) to be kind to this shameless creature [i.e.] Aurangzeb who roams the deserts of the Deccan. Even if there is any obvious mistake on their part, forgive them and ignore them.

7. No other nation is better than the Persians to act as rulers. And even in war none of this nation turned its face from the field. They're not guilty because they disobeyed once, but it's hard to move on." Gather them. You have to gather them.

8. Turani people were always soldiers. Raids, night raids, arrests and punishments are cruel and they are a hundred feet from the stupidity of the Hindustani (people), who will take part in their heads but will not leave their posts in battle. We should favor this race."

9.You should honor the Sayyids who are worthy of blessings. But you should be very careful while dealing with Syeds. Do not desire to love them deeply, but do not dominate them outwardly as they become the dominant partner. And demand an empire.

10. As far as possible the rulers of the empire should not avoid wandering about; He should avoid staying in one place, which will give him external comfort but will result in a thousand miseries and troubles."

11.Never trust your children or get intimate with them in your life, because if Shah Jahan Emperor had not treated Darashikoh in such a manner, his case could not have been such a tragedy. A king's words are barren (meaning a king's word has no value after he is dead or imprisoned).

12..Government should be well informed in the news of the main empire. Ignorance even for a moment becomes a cause of infamy (later infamy) for many years. Shiva unfortunately escaped from my (hands) carelessness and I had to do hard work till the end of my life.(Aurangzeb talking about Maratha Mughal War 27)
